With a master’s degree in Data Science, you’ll learn the current developments in software, infrastructure engineering, and big data technology. By equipping you with the right skills, this programme will help you transform into an expert capable of developing challenging data science applications and systems, in both the private and public sectors. This programme is now available onsite at one of IU's two international campuses, in Berlin or Bad Honnef and you’ll have the option to continue with an 18-month post study work visa, which gives you the opportunity to work in and explore Germany.

Academic Requirements:

- Completed degree from a public or officially recognised university/higher education institution in a relevant field.
- For 60 ECTS credits programmes, you will need to have already acquired 240 ECTS credits. For 120 ECTS credits programmes, you will need to have 180 ECTS credits.
- Achieved a final grade of at least “satisfactory” or Grade C equivalent (minimum 3,5 in the German grading scale) in your previous undergraduate degree 


English Level:

- Proof of English skills.
- If you do not meet the English skills requirements, IU offers the free of charge IU English Language course. This is available to you if you meet the other admission requirements.
- If English is your native language or you graduated from an English-speaking school/university, you do not have to prove your English skills.
