Today, cyberattacks pose a massive and unprecedented threat in many businesses. This has created a need for cyber security specialists with a deep understanding of modern operating systems, cloud computing and software forensics. IU's practice-oriented cyber security programme on campus teaches you everything you need to know about securing data and implementing top security procedures for systems used by businesses all over the world. You'll also learn how to use statistical and digital forensic methodologies to safeguard infrastructures against attacks, threats, and malware. With IU's on-campus option, you will be eligible for an 18-month post-study visa that will allow you to work and explore Germany after your studies.

Academic Requirements
Completed undergraduate degree from a public or officially recognised university/higher education institution.
For 120 ECTS credits programmes, you will need to have 180 ECTS credits.
Achieved a final grade of at least “satisfactory” or Grade C equivalent (minimum 3,5 in the German grading scale) in your previous undergraduate degree 


English Level:


- Proof of English skills.
- If you do not meet the English skills requirements, IU offers the free of charge IU English Language course. This is available to you if you meet the other admission requirements.
- If English is your native language or you graduated from an English-speaking school/university, you do not have to prove your English skills.
