Data Science in Business and Entrepreneurship (joint degree with TU/e)

Become a data engineer, data scientist, data entrepreneur or data consultant, or prepare yourself for a career as a data-driven researcher. The Master Data Science in Business and Entrepreneurship combines the technological know-how of Eindhoven University of Technology with Tilburg University’s business, legal and societal insights.

In the Master Data Science in Business and Entrepreneurship (DSBE) you cover all necessary disciplines to successfully apply data science in business and entrepreneurship in a responsible way. Data engineering is about designing systems handling the data infrastructure. Data analytics is about data science and AI models you run on the data. Since all models inevitably provide an output, interpreting, explaining, and interacting with this output is critical. That is why data-driven decision making is needed. Data-driven business development is about translating the models into business impact, supported by law and ethics that the first four disciplines need to align with.
